Biden fights back after Druckenmiller’s reckless spending lambast

Washington | Joe Biden defended his massive industry subsidies at a campaign rally on Wednesday (Thursday AEST) as the president comes under increasing pressure from Wall Street icon Stanley Druckenmiller and other experts over his spending policies.
Mr Biden, campaigning in the battleground state of Wisconsin where he is trailing Republican candidate Donald Trump, rejected claims from the likes of Mr Druckenmiller that his spending was crowding out private investment.
