How has your industry changed in the past five years?

We’re in both financial services and communication consulting. Technology has, and will continue to, change communication. The GFC shook financial institutions to their core. And now regulation, higher consumer expectations and generational change in the workforce are fundamentally changing our environment – in many ways for the better. Financial services organisations have to be more transparent, faster and more open in communication and take a more holistic view of their reputation.

How much time do you spend at your desk?

Not much. Maybe an hour a day maximum. I spend time with our people, seeing clients, and making sure I know what’s happening here and offshore.

How do spend your down time?

With my three kids, ideally outdoors. Sometimes running.

Where do you do your best thinking?

On holidays.

What’s your top time-saving tip?

Outsource everything at home you can afford to.

What is your worst habit?

Yelling at my three kids when we’re running late. Which seems often.

The person I’d most like to sit next to on a long-haul flight is…

My husband.
