Revenue for corporate training outfit REAL Learning grew 322 per cent year on year in 2011-12, up to $10.5 million. That was 122 percentage points higher than the expected 200 per cent, chief executive Ross Robinson says. The company appeared on the 2012 BRW Fast Starters with revenue of $3.3 million, ranked 55th but trading as Real Corporate Partners. The fillip in revenue came from landing a few large contracts. It paid for the rebranding and allowed Robinson to hire five new sales people, increasing this department to seven.

For this year, Robinson says, “The expectation is on our sales people to achieve the same targets, although I don’t think it’s sustainable to do 322 per cent again . . . but never say never.”
