BRW and ANZ Corporate Banking have been working together for the past three years to help raise the profile of outstanding private businesses and encourage the spirit of entrepreneurship through the BRW ANZ Private Business Awards. In addition, BRW and ANZ jointly commission the annual Private Business Research report, which examines the challenges, priorities and outlook for Australia’s private companies, including those featured in BRW’s Top 500 Private Companies.

“ANZ has a long history of working with private business owners to manage their specific challenges and opportunities and we continue to be pleased to partner BRW to recognise the outstanding achievements of private businesses in Australia,” ANZ head of corporate banking Michael Saadie says. “We congratulate the winners, finalists and all private business owners for their passion and commitment and for making an invaluable contribution to the Australian business and economic landscape. “ We also believe the 2010 private business study helps us keep abreast of the issues and opportunities of our private business clients and private businesses in general so that we can provide insight to assist in dealing with their issues.

“We are delighted ANZ is supporting us in our efforts to understand better the private businesses in Australia through this annual research program,” BRW editor in chief Sean Aylmer says.
