After two days of public voting Buzz Products is in the lead for the people’s choice awards in BRW’s 30 Most Innovative Companies in Australia competition. Buzz designed the Qantas Q Bag Tag – the world’s first integration of RFID technology into bag tags which synchronises a passenger’s travel details with their luggage.

Buzz is one of the companies that has been identified by BRW and Inventium as one of the top 30 most innovative companies in Australia. The full list of the top 30 has been released here in alphabetical order for the public to vote on.

Blue Chilli – the start-up incubator – and Ikon Communications are currently in second and third place respectively.

The judges’s official decisions will be revealed in BRW on December 6, so there is still plenty of time to vote. Please note that the public voting will not affect the judges decision, but instead allow a peoples’ choice award to be announced on www.brw.com.au.
